    Eggtimer Mini GPS Question

These are what I use. https://www.getfpv.com/female-jst-battery-pigtail-10cm-10pcs-bag.html I originally used some from Amazon but the key in the connector was not large enough to prevent reverse polarity.

    Terrier/Sandhawk Flight

Nice flight. I'm glad you recovered both parts successfully. I plan to build and fly 2 stage in '24. I hope I have the same success.

Where to buy F motors without paying $60?

I was fortunate enough to visit "Chris's Rocket Supplies" at the NSL West launch over the Memorial day weekend. He has many of the Estes labeled AT F26-6 motors for $17.49 each. I purchased 4 of them at that event. I recently attended the Airfest 29 launch and was able to purchase 4 more. I...

Recommendations for a good rocket for my first duel deployment rocket

+1 on the Peregrine. The instructions are very detailed and include part numbers for every part in the kit. If you mess up somewhere you can order the required parts and continue.

Kit or scratchbuilt level 2 rocket

My level 2 flight was with a Madcow Aerobee-Hi. I improved it by adding an AV bay and flew it full dual deploy. I also had GPS in the nosecone. I did not originally plan on using that rocket for my cert flight but I wanted to complete the certification before the NAR procedures changed. My...

    Eggtimer Quark Photos

Here is a Quark with soldered deployment leads. It is installed in an Apogee BT60 AV bay. There was not a lot of room for the terminal block. The deployment leads are Cat5 wire with ring terminals soldered on the ends. I use 6-32 brass screws through the bulkheads with knurled nuts to attach the...

Wildman 2022 Wednesday members only test sale.

OK, it is an Ultimate Drago and the 75/5120 case and M1297 combo. Then there is also a K and a couple J motors. So far my calculations show the Drago should reach 5500 feet with. 6 to 1 power to weight ratio. Oh well there's plenty of time to worry about the details.

Is AC Supply legit? I've never heard of them but they have what I want.

I have made purchases from them with no problems. I will buy from them again.

    L2 cert approach

My L1 was with a stock Zephyr using motor deployment. I had already started to experiment with dual deploy in a BT60 based rocket using 24mm reloads. I also added an Eggtimer Apogee to my Zephyr and got experience with single event electronic deployment sometimes in conjunction with a JollyLogic...

    Apogee Friendly Phantasm

Sorry for the delay in responding. We also started with a Sharpie with poor results. The marker used is an "Alcohol-based Marker" by "Artists Loft". I believe he made the purchase at Michael's or Hobby Lobby.

    Apogee Friendly Phantasm

Got it done! I built this one with parts I had in stock. My son did the graphics by hand with a permanent marker. It flew great today on a D12-3. Next flight will have the 5 second delay.
