Are There Any Cloverfield Fans Still in the House...?

Funny how it makes me think of Mario Bros. 2, which was in fact a totally different game in Japan and which they marketed as a sequel to Mario Bros. Cloverfield was far from a perfect movie, but there was something very poignant about it. It was one of those movies that are a bit stale but...

TLP, (The Launch Pad) Fans Thread

Well, I don't even have to start with the TLP kit. All I need is a nosecone, some 2.6 inch tube and a motor mount. I can build the rest easily. Not TIME may be another thing :P

Also to be noted, I think the D12 weights around 40g while the E9 is around 60g, further reducing the thrust to weight ratio.

The three of them look very nice! I always have weakness for the Indigo and thoughts of making it two stage :) I had a bad experience with an E9 myself. I think these are not powerful enough for their weight. They can lift only rockets that are both very light and very stable.

Interesting. I didn't know about these LED options. Are you satisfied with them and how would you compare them to neons?

What did you do rocket wise today?

Bought a mask to paint inside with the airbrush. I didin't have one but today I saw that the dehumidifier collector can had blue paint at the bottom... and it is not even in the room where I paint. I'll now have the mask and will close the door when I paint and after so the particles can...

Cheap, tough as a tank kit for research

I built a tough bastard, but it is in 1.6 inch tube. I reinforced the top of the tube. It uses 24 mm motors. I put large launch lugs. The fins are plywood and have epoxy fillets. The motor retainer is a plastic screw on type. Added weight to nose cone. This thing won't lose a fin on landing as...
