Yes George, I am thinking along the lines of an "Estes style" shuttle, where the orbiter glides down and the tank comes down on parachute. I may even look at making the SRBs separate at apogee, but no RC systems at this point. Thanks for your knowledge!

It's a 10" Meade LX-200R on a 10" concrete pier. I've got an Orion ST80 piggybacked as a guidescope, with an Orion Starfinder autoguider. I can't really call it an observatory because it's too small to get around the scope for observing. It's an astrophotographyatory. :)
