3D Printing Clear FDM for fins

I believe you are being given alternatives to printed fins. My preference, in order of transparency: 1. Cut clear polycarbonate sheet. 2. 3D printed with clear filament. 3. Traditional construction, painted a neutral grey color. Haze grey and underway!

3D Printing What Are You Printing Today?

Bambu Lab will continue to shake up the hobby printer market. I have a limited budget, so I'll be tinkering with hardware for the foreseeable future. Good luck with your new adventures in 3d printing.

3D Printing What Are You Printing Today?

You have inspired me to get to a teardown/diagnostic of a printer with an electronic issue. Possible faulty power switch, which is a known issue for the FLSUN printers.

    Scissors recommendations

I've always used Gingher 7" scissors and their [4" embroidery scissors] 5" craft scissors for tight cuts. Fiskars makes good scissors as well. Gingher Dressmaker's Fabric Scissors with Protective Sheath - 7" Stainless Steel Shears - Sharp Knife Edge Fabric Scissors - Silver...

    3D Printing CR10s Troubleshooting

General comments. (I don't own a CR-10) Do not overtighten the screw retaining the thermistor, snug is fine. Overtightening can damage the thermistor. Ambient temperature has a significant effect on print quality. Are you up north? My room temperature is a cool 70°F in Florida and I notice...

3D Printing Tools I recommend for 3d Printer Fanatics.

This looks like an affordable food dehydrator. With shipping its a bit cheaper than models listed at Amazon. I may stick with Amazon Prime for their return policy and no cost return shipping.

3D Printing Tools I recommend for 3d Printer Fanatics.

Thank you. I'd consider the cheaper version. It appears to be rated and approved. "Standards: Compliant with GA 602-2013, RoHS, CE and NPS standards" It's interesting they copied the AFG graphics. In the case of protecting my home, I may select the USA manufacturer, with UL application pending.

3D Printing Tools I recommend for 3d Printer Fanatics.

Good morning. I've been lurking here for awhile. Started 3D printing in August. I'm considering this fire extinguisher for protection while I'm away from home. Any thoughts? Coronavirus: What questions do you have?

Quarantine seems to be working in Hong Kong. COVID-19 cases were down, then spiked after they relaxed restrictions.

Coronavirus: What questions do you have?

Chuck, is that a straight line (curve) to an October peak, or a lull, then resurgence? I'm concerned the infection come in cyclical waves. Lots of theories out there. We're living though the data points. Thank you for your service to our country.

Coronavirus: What questions do you have?

Why is COVID-19 sometimes described as a disease? Isn't it a virus which may cause pneumonia? What's the difference between a disease and an illness? (Questions from a finance geek.)
