    X1.4: A 24mm MD prototype story.

He is right, those small aerotech C slot motors are probably not possible to install the igniter through the nozzle once assembled, I have always pre installed them.

We test flew one last weekend, although the rockets flight did not perform normally we did have successful tracking with the new featherweight unit. Simple to set up and pair the unit in the software, reported gps landing position was very precise using google earth as a reference

Update for CTI ProX Motor Orders for Canada

Do you know when they expect to restart production of Cstar and V max propellant? "Until further notice" could be a long time? Had plans for a specific set of motors early next year and have just made the investment in new CTI casings for the project... but does not sound too promising.

Mounting of large O-ring on M1350 motor?

Yes thats right, the instructions don't actually say to grease it but it does refer to it as a pre-greased oring. Mine did not have any grease on it out of the packet so I decided to put grease on it myself

Mounting of large O-ring on M1350 motor?

I assembled one last week and it did take a few minutes to get it to go in, its a tight fit. you will get almost all of it in and then have just a small amount protruding from the groove that will need something wider than a popsicle stick to push it all in or you just keep going around in...

    Going for 100,000 Feet

Im sorry to put it like this, but you really do need those fin spans to be at least around 110% of the airframe diameter to get them out of the turbulent air flow and in to some clean air to give them any chance of keeping the rocket stable at high velocities. Good luck, I get excited reading...

The Simple Circuit - Raven Expansion Board Beta Test Request

I would still pay $25 if it was a kit I had to solder myself. Recently bought the eggfinder gps kits off cris erving and enjoyed assembling them.

    Modified John Coker pads

That's a lot of cutting you've had going on Tony, hope you have a bandsaw? I like the idea of putting 1010 and 1515 rails back to back, I think I will do that with the new pad we are going to build.

    Hybrids 2017

Slowly begun machining the parts for some 75mm hybrid motor testing, goal will be to develop a system similar to the rattworks tribrid... has anyone else come up with a dual phase system like that? Unfortunately Nitrous Oxide is a lot more expensive here in NZ compared to the USA and UK. Do I...
