I'm looking for a RouseTech style silver anodized 54mm small nozzle aft closure, part number 54ACCSN. This is the special aft closure that is used for the 54/426 AT reloads. I thought I would ask here if anyone has one they wish to sell before I just buy the black anodized version from AT...

Protective clear tubes for motor casings

Back in 2013-14 I bought a bunch of protective tubes for motor casings from a company that I have completely lost track of. The tubes were clear vinyl/plastic thin tubing with black rubber covers for both ends, and they were (in my mind) a perfect way of protecting the casing from dings and...

I'm currently in the process of building a 3 inch diameter rocket with a 54mm motor mount. The airframe tube is rocketry warehouse fiberglass tubing. The problem I'm having concerns the durability of a bridle or harness in the booster section. For a previous rocket with these same dimensions, I...

Three 4-40 nylon shear pin (screws) right amount for 10 pound fiberglass rocket?

The subject pretty much says it. Are three 4-40 nylon shear pins more or less the right amount to use for a 10 pound, all fiberglass, 3" diameter rocket? Or is that overkill and I should be using the 2-56 size? (Of course I would size the ejection charge appropriately) Thanks! -Robert

Aerotech now using body tubes with no spiral indentation?

Greetings All, BAR here... I just picked up an Aerotech Astrobee D kit, and in prepping for the build I noticed that the spirals on the main body tubes have little to no indentation or gap. You can see a line indicating where the spiral is, but it looks like it has been covered over with...
