Does anyone know if phenolic tubes can be "peeled" from the inside in order to thin the wall thickness?

Our local HL is adjusting prices for the new year. I've bought quite a few D's from them with the 40% off coupons. D's are now $2 per pack more than previous. (from $10.99 to $12.99) E's are up as well but, the C's and A's are still holding at $4.97. Just an FYI.

Just saw an add for this stuff. Didn't catch the whole thing but, sounds like it will glue anything and everything. I believe it is also sandable. Anyone tried it?

Has anyone tried to build the Roachworks Soyuz kit with the dowel removed from the truss area? I realize the dowel is a structural element but, if one firmed up the truss, epoxy maybe, .....?
