Sold Sky Angle Cert 3 XL

This has only flown once and is in practically brand new condition. No holes, frayes, or rips. $150 firm and buyer pays shipping. I can possibly deliver to TMO, WSR, or ROCI as well as the Cincinnati/Dayton/Richmond areas. I bought this years ago for my L3 project. I waited too long and now with...

    EVENT ThunderStruck 2023 Registration Open

Let's get some excitement going here. What are you all bringing?! I've only been to one Thunderstruck (2014) and man was it memorable. Let's see or hear about those projects! On a side note, is the full scale patriot flying again? It's on the featured flights page.

    EVENT ThunderStruck 2023 Registration Open

Yes sir, that's me. Thanks Eric! I have 2. It will be good to see you there! We attended a couple launches in 2020/21, but hadn't been to one until this past weekend and my son couldn't get enough. Lots of hooting and hollering on every flight. He's really going to enjoy Thunderstruck.

    EVENT ThunderStruck 2023 Registration Open

Great to hear Thunderstruck is back! While the cost of HPR has gone up enough that I likely won't be flying anything, I still plan to attend and watch everyone else burn some serious ap. This will be the first big launch for my kids so definitely looking forward to it!

Cross country drive - possible rocket theme/destinations?

Just a heads up on the USAF museum in Dayton. My brothers were just there earlier in the week and the rocket/missile area was closed and will be for most if not the rest of the year. The museum is awesome regardless, but if that was the main reason you wanted to go it will not be doable. The...

Indiana Rocketry - Dec 13/14 Ash Grove Launch

Alrighty time for my Sunday report with pics... As Gus mentioned, 4 brothers and I headed out in search for one last hoorah in Indiana(for now). It was raining off and on for much of the drive and not looking too promising. When we arrived the ceiling was a whopping 400ft. Not exactly a good...

What else do you fly or have flown?

If it has anything to do with the air I've been into it. Astronomy, stormchasing, rc planes, kites, freeflight models, parachutes, rockets etc. I even soloed in a Cessna 172 before I could drive a car @ age 17. However none of these come close to the awesomeness of flying your body. Skydiving...

Wildman DS 4 Head End Deployment RockSim

The title says it all. The computer with RockSim finally said it's too old and crashed. I no longer have RockSim at the moment and was wondering if someone could could run a couple flights with an Aerotech K550 and Aerotech L1000. I have the new DS 4 with head end deployment which is shorter...

Wildman BlackSat....save some money for it....with it.

Thanks Tim and Jackie for putting this sale together! I thought I would miss it since I was backpacking in SC with no cell service, but my brother's phone had just enough reception to get a call through in just 3 rings. I now have my L3 motor and a couple K motors on order :) I possibly had the...

Indiana Rocketry - Dec 13/14 Ash Grove Launch

Bob, Assuming the weather is good on Sunday I'll be needing an L1000 if you still have one available. My brothers and I plan on flying a new rocket on a new motor :) 2 AMW M2200 skids now. This is going to be awesome.

    getting HPR certification back

For certain if you have your old number you will get your L1 back immediately. I took 4 years off of HPR due to the military and was able to get my L2 back by just giving them my old NAR #. I would call or email to see. Maybe they can still restore your cert by looking your name up?

    Loki Research 2014

I flew my first spitfire on Sunday. The H100. A very nice little motor. I also tried a new padcam view with my GoPro and it turned out quite well. Some video grabs. And lastly the video... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NlNrGTNYjpk

Ash Grove launch Nov 15th and 16th

As Gus mentioned we made it out to "The Grove" yesterday. Yes, it was cold. Yes, it was snowing most of the time and yes, the clouds were low, but we still had a great time. As long as there is awesome company flying rockets is just an added bonus. It was good to finally meet you, Gus and spend...
