    Cherokee-e

I dont, I live in north Dakota on 300+acres of farmland and surrounded by who knows how many more, very little trees around so I can just let them fly . I also launch when winds are extremely minimal. I've had it land 50 ft from me and like I said before over half a mile at its farthest.

    Cherokee-e

i have launched mine a dozen times, mostly d's and a couple e flights, i have had to chase it half a mile at its furthest drift, but it is an absolute beauty to watch. i have a 3rd kit i need to build as mine is starting to get a bit crispy around the mmt.

Love the paint job! and thank you for that link. I do like that its 11" and has the ply rings. This will be what i go with for this build. I won't get started on it for a while yet, theorycrafting and making plans right now. this may be my first DD rocket too. I am undecided on that. My launch...

    estes executioner

Hey everyone, I picked up an executioner on the estes BF sale and i would like to convert it to 29 mm over the 24 that comes with it. My curiosity is if the stock tube is strong enough for it or not. It feels kinda flimsy. Should i use this rocket as a first try at glassing or would it be...

DiaLFonZo - Baby Dart - Build

How well does it hold together? A downward force may make it twist apart. I could be wrong though.

DiaLFonZo - Baby Dart - Build

ok, it looks great, im sure there will be others that are far more knowledgeable that will give some input. DiaLFonZo - Baby Dart - Build

Here are those pics, they are from the estes amazon. I like what you have there too, does it throw your weight off too much?

DiaLFonZo - Baby Dart - Build

would you be opposed to making the tube diameter a hair wider to accommodate an older style of twist lock retention that some of the older estes models have? let me dig through my stuff and ill snap some pics for you.

DiaLFonZo - Baby Dart - Build

Very nicely done! Are you going to add motor retention on a later model? Or do you want to keep it specifically friction fit?
