sorry to bump an old thread, just checking in after being gone for many years.
did this model get finished?
i did something similar with a C6-0 in a Red Max, surprisingly short flight.
I'm in. :)
Did anybody go to the Feb launch today?
It was windy and rainy here in N. Tampa..
the Vigilante was my first 2 stager and favorite rocket growing up.
you easily clone it now with the return of the PNC-55AO in current Estes...
looks like something Snoopy would fly.
maybe you can paint him in the canopy:)
just got this kit.
it has clay included now.
and here's the paper tiger next to a very smaller BT-60 version..
just waiting on an ejection baffle, 24in chute, tube coupler and 4x24...
a couple of tries gave me something close.
obviously not a perfect scale model, but close enough.
we'll see if the surface mount fins stay on...
I printed the pro patriot pattern from JimZ.
A photo copier re-size should get it big enough.
I decided to build a Patriot with the BT101 tubes I have laying around.
Does anybody have a fin pattern for this upscale?
Pretty excited, they opened a store *only* 25 miles from me.
I heard they had the pro series kits and F-G motors, so I was looking forward to...
i have a Canadian Arrow, i guess i'll use E9-4's for the first launch.
i couldn't get motivated to go.
all my stuff is light-weight low power, and I envisioned it going horizontally across the sky in the wind.
that's really bad luck.
hope you're feeling better now.
worst i have seen was a lady in a lawn chair fell over backwards while watching a rocket...
i'm thinking about going, but the weather doesn't look too promising.
Really cool to see how the inner tanks punched through during spin.
i always wanted this kit.
never liked the plastic-finned maxi3.
One thing with this model- the nose cone on the card art looks a little...
Terrible way to get the Olympics started.
He was only 21 years old.
