    Coronavirus Vaccines

Chuck, My position on why schools should open last is based on : (1) Children are a very common vector of disease. (2) They sit in close proximity to each other, for extended periods of time, either in classrooms or on school buses. (3) Children typically practice poor hygiene. ( nose-picking...

    Cause of launch spiral?

Another possibility might be that the Tail Boom is flexing during Boost. Hopefully, tightening up the Pod cures the problem. Dave F.

    A nice graphic

That RUHRSTAL KRAMER X-4 looks interesting . . . I have many, highly-detailed photo's I took at the National Air Force Museum, several years ago. The curator's allows me 'hands-on" access, for over a hour. I called, far in advance, to get permission and scheduled an appointment. Dave F.

    Cause of launch spiral?

Eric, You are talking about spiraling during Boost, right ? A few years ago, I had a D R/G do the same thing. It was due to the fact that I had built in some Rudder deflection. Once I re-aligned the Rudder and used Stab Tilt, instead, to induce a turn, the problem went away. Dave F.

Are "PLUGGED" Motors Legal To Fly ?

Question : Since the F10 is an Apogee motor and Tim Van Milligan, owner of Apogee, is actively plugging single-use motors on YouTube, can plugging be considered as an "approved procedure" by the Manufacturer ? Motors. I will use only certified, commercially-made model rocket motors, and will...

    Tripoli vs NAR?

Well, considering that I have been posting frequently in the Coronavirus Forum, it is not surprising that they are not "Rocketry-Related". I have not been calling anyone names, to my recollection, much as I would have liked to, if the Forum were not Moderated ! You have the right to "ignore"...

Are "PLUGGED" Motors Legal To Fly ?

As for the clay cap, adding a drop or two of water or alcohol might soften the clay, making it easy to remove . . . Just some thoughts .

What about removing the ejection charge ? That way, you would still have the Tracking Smoke from the Delay Train.
