hi all..

Just wondering what is the biggest engine that i can fit into a stock executioner.
I thought about putting a 29mm mount into it but i'd rather not lose it.
I would like to keep it stock but still juice it up a bit with a big engine.

thanks...greg.

The AT F21-6 is a great motor for the Executioner. It flys it way high but still within sight. And it fits the stock 24mm motor mount.

no mods at all to the engine hook or mounting?
If not then that is very cool.
How high do u think it goes with this engine?
and where is the best place to purchase these baby's?

The other option is to use a 24mm RMS system. It will work in the stock MMT with the D-spacer. I fly mine on E18-4 and it's always a great flight!

I have flown mine on the Estes D12 and E9 and it flies well, especially on a small field as the altitude is not too high.

I filed the engine hook so that it did not stick in past the thrust ring.

I have flown it on the AT RMS E18 and that has been the best flight yet.

One of these days I am going to get brave and put an AT SU F21 Econojet in it. It should really scream on that!

BTW, filing the engine hook, coating the inside of the stuffer tube & 'chute compartment with CA, using kevlar w/elastic for the shock cord, and using a nylon 'chute were the only modifications that I made. I have done this with most all of my D/E/F powered rockets.

Correct. No mods required.

RockSim says between 990 and 1050 feet, depending on how much glue and paint you used. I've flown mine on an F21 once, and that looks about right. That's almost twice as high as an E9, and it's much less susceptible to weathercocking because the takeoff speed is so much faster.

Hobbylinc (www.hobbylinc.com) may not be the BEST place to buy them, but I've been pretty pleased with them for price, delivery, and availibility.

I love flying my Executioner on 24mm RMS F24-7 reloads, but Estes E9 are cool, love the long burn.

What BobCox said on all accounts.

Don't get me wrong, the Ex' is a great flyer on the Estes E9-4, nice slow liftoff, not too high, usually makes for a short walk. :D

Then, stick the afore mentioned AT F-21 Econojet in it. Totally different beast.:D :D :D

The Ex' and the F21 combo is one of my favs for sure.
