First of all, this is question I have about the Oracle Software. Mods. if you feel this thread should be placed elseware, please move it.

Ok, it seems like I'm getting the hang of using the software but I can't get my Windows Media Player to play the videos.

Has anyone had this issue yet and if so, how did you resolve it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am really anxious to launch this thing.

Thanks:)

Hi,

I had no problems on my desktop which is running on Windows 2000 Professional. I loaded it also on my laptop which is running Windows 98 and had to download Windows Media Player version 9 for it to run properly.

Which Windows version are you using?

I am using Windows Media Player 9. The problem is, it loads, then stops without playing anything.

I was wondering if the capture function is needed.

I am not a computer whiz but because the file is an .avi, maybe you could download Quick Time player to play the file.

I'm no computer wiz either, but the two times I've viewed footage captured by the Estes Oracle, it was viewed using Quick Time, not Windows Media Viewer.

Never occured to me to try a brand new battery.

Works great now. I can't wait to get some flight videos.:D

I'm running Windows ME and Windows Media Player 9. Works great.

Thanks everyone for your help.:)
