Ok, here's the story;
I ordered my first Fliskits a couple weeks ago, the Deuces Wild and a Richter Recker. I was so pleased with the kits and service and everything that I decided to get some more. I couldn't make up my mind what I wanted but wanted to get my order in by 9/30 for the free shipping. So I finally narrowed it down to the ACME Spitfire, Nomad, Praetor, another Richter Recker and 2 extra nose cones. (RR #2 and nose cones are for some scratch projects)
I placed my order the night of 9/29, close to midnight, which means Fliskits got my order the morning of the 30th. I attached a message saying "Jim, take your time, would love to get an overdue ". The very next day, Oct. 1, my birthday, I get an email from Jim: "Just wanted to let you know we have shipped your order. Sorry, no overdue this time." Unbelievable, I thought. Then Oct. 3 the mail lady brings me a package, from Fliskits. Happy Birthday to me! Everything was there, perfect and beautiful. Ordered late Monday night, and received Friday. And they were supposedly swamped with orders that "could take 7-10 days to fill."
So you see, there is no Overdue kit. Jim just scratch built a prototype, made up this story about giving you one if your order is late, then he chuckles every time they ship an order
Now I just can't wait to build all these new toys.
Thumbs up once more to Fliskits!!
