Yes. Email Ken and see what he has in stock. Let me know if he is out.

Anyone looking at the weather for orangeburg. I am seeing isolated thunderstorms for that weekend. What's the consensus with you local guys up there.

That is the everyday summer forecast here in the Carolinas. They are usually very very isolated just pop up storms unless a front is moving through. Nonetheless that's a normal day here.

Do not under any circumstances pay any attention to weather forcasts. We gonna be there, so come on!!!

On our website, there is a weather forcast. We will be on the field come rain or shine with the limiting factor being lightning. If there is a thunderstorm, I am heading for the cars.

Volunteers for RSO and LCO can post here also:

There are a lot of slots available.

Summer weather forecast for the Carolina's - hot, humid, with a chance of a Thunderstorm. Let me be clear, that's everyday. :)

Can't wait, heading down on Friday morning.

I'm hoping Chuck organized an ice cream truck to swing by a couple times each day! :D

That would be a glorious thing! I'll never forget the day that one showed up for just a regular weekend launch at the big PMW field which, if you've never been there, is like many fields and out in the middle of no where. It's a great site seeing grown-ass men and women *running* to get their ice cream! And the truly remarkable thing about it was that it was NOT a hot day!

For the drag race, we might have set up the away cell to do it. The added impulse tells you the distance.

Hi everyone,
I've been to the Freedom Launch the last two years, and I'm wondering how big of a turnout you expect on Friday for SCI Power relative to the Freedom Launch. Is this launch mostly research related, or will there be people of all certification levels launching just like the first day of the Freedom Launch? I don't want to be the only L1 flier!

Thanks!

Every one can fly. Only restriction is kids can't go past low power once a research motor is place on the pad.

Even though it's a Research launch, I guarantee 80% of flights will be commercial.

So after the first research launch no HPR for people under 18? Or while one is about to launch...

No,

If there is a research rocket on the pads, any one under 18 must be behind the low power pads. If an under 18 is beyond the low power line to recover a rocket, research flyers have to wait to put their rockets on the pads.

Junior certs should be set up ahead of time. It is a bad idea to show up expecting to cert.

Thor-Glo is ready to fly, going up on a "J " something to remain within Waiver. I trust I will be able to see her during the entire flight. 5 batteries on board for power. One for each section, a 70" white chute brings her down and is also LED illuminated. Dual deploy, RRC2+ and a Drogue will be used

I guess on Friday Night now.
