All tracking numbers have been sent out for this first batch.

The overwhelming response has caused me to increase the next order of parts to 50.

Again I thank you and hope to see a few picture on the forum of these about to be created Night creatures.
Don't be Afraid of the Dark!!! Take back the night!:dark:

DLB, you didn't have to do this, but I sure appreciate it. I assure you my Nitebow will be flown...many times!

AND he's an amazing rocket designer of iconic rockets like the Thor that led to many split-fin spin-offs. Amazing talent.

Dam, my head going to explode.

NiteBow started with me playing around, when Kendall and Gordon and myself were building and painting night rockets.
Soon a outdoor lighting setup will be built, composed of 8 NiteBows at first on a serial link and have a master controller in the house. Be able to dial up moving rainbows to Christmas lighting across the front of your home.
Yes I'm a BIG fan of split fin rockets, they just look bad ass and sexy to me!:eyepop:

kinda like the lady below, Errrr:jaw::grin:

Hmmm... not quite my type...

As far as war women I'd still go with:

Especially considering she also looks good in sci-fi black leather along with the Australian accent!

Received mine today. Haven't had a chance to check it out yet.

Well I connected a battery to mine yesterday to test it and after expecting alot from what everyone was saying, I wasn't impressed. To me it seemed as though it wasn't all that bright. My son was with me when I tested it and he didn't think it was very bright either. So I got to thinking today... maybe the battery wasn't up to par. I put a voltmeter and it and sure enough it read 7.8v . Noticed the "best before" date on the battery was March 2012! I got a new battery and needless to say IT IS AWESOME! :) I can't wait to show my son the next time he stops over. I am sure he will be as impressed with it now. Thanks DLB!

Yep, a fresh batery will make you very happy, if the battery was @ 7.6 volt just sitting there and not under load, she bad!!
these units will work down to about 6 volts , but looses a lot of it's kick, but still can be seen in a dark field and could save the day( errrh ) night!
depending on the pattern selected can last about 2 to 6 hours on a single 9 Volts battery.

Now someone asked if these units could be operated by a LIPO, Yes they can, but !!!! Resistors on the board will have to be matched up with the voltage you would like to use, > 6 volts and < 13 volts. I have used a 11.1 @ 5000Mah volt Lipo on the standard NiteBow, Very BRIGHT, but was running the unit a little hot. it ran 5 days at WOW brightness before I pulled the battery. and they still had a good amount of power left.

There are (3) leds within each NiteBow of each can use up to 200ma each, most patterns only have one on at a time, but like worst case Strobe white can use up to 600 Ma during it's on time. Keep in mine that the average 9 volt battery has 500ma within it! Prism mode ( Red, Yellow, Green, Aqua, blue, Purple and White) use 1, 2 and 3 LEDS at one time. These units are also Pulse width operated and help save battery usage.

Received ours packed well and arrived quickly. Bright does not cut it as a description for this monster. This will be fun at ROCstock in June, now to build something worthy of it.

I have a very long list.
I'm keeping all PM's of people that want one.
I will post when I have them ready.
If you PM me I may not answer fast, but you're on the list.
Price will remain the same.
This is not a kit, no assembly required.
no special orders.
no date on delivery as of now, parts are on order, some from China.
think that covers it!
WOW lots of PM's.

Crazy question dlb - any way we can hook up 2 of these and have them syncronized?

GOT MINE THEY ARE AWESOME.
Safety tip: do not look at nitebow with remaining good eye ;-))))
pm'd for two on next list

I'm still waiting on the LEDS and lenses from China, seems to be a very slow boat.
All other part are ready to go.

If I run out, no worries, I have more on order on a rotating bases, everybody will be severed.

I hope that everyone enjoys these units.

DLB

Got your PM, paid via Paypal, and you've provided the tracking. Very efficient, and THANK YOU..

I truly hope you are not serious about your statement above! YIKES!

For those I contacted thru PM's and that have paid, those NiteBow packages will go out today , I will send you a tracking number.
for those that have not been contacted , I will be getting to you in the next few days. I'm taking them in the order I got them in.

Like I said , my PM's are very close to full and I'm trying to control it a bit.
And I'm building and testing every unit , they even get a vibration test to 20 "g's"( paint shaker ), one fell out of the tester and flew across the room and still worked.:y:
Thanks for all the interest in NiteBow!

Don asked me to post this:

"NiteBows are on hold temporarily, I am iced in. The entire city of Augusta is in a state of emergency. Everything is shut down. Over an inch of ice on roads and trees. My house was hit by falling tree and took off my sun-room this morning. There is a 100ft pine now leaning 15 degrees over the house and roots are exposed on one side. If it goes.....I'm done in. No power.....no heat. Trees have taken out many houses & cars in my neighbor hood.
Thankyou for your patience & understanding"

Our phone conversation was cut off abruptly & I could not get him back.

CJ.

Augusta Georgia did not have a nice day, inch and a half of solid ice, trees down everywhere.
