For those of you who have ordered from rocketry warehouse what was your overall experience with them? I placed an order about a week ago, and it still hasn't been charged to me or shipped. I'm just a little concerned because it's supposed to be a Christmas gift...

From my 1 order with them, they are great! There is a minus, though. I cannot contact them no matter what I do.

Any suggestions?

Just what I didn't want to hear. Goal was to get a hold of someone and get this sorted out. In my experience if a company doesn't ship it within a few days of the order, it's anybody's guess when it will get out the door.

I've always had great service from them. I ordered some tubes and parts a little over a week ago and was charged and received a shipping notification this past Friday. I figured the slight delay was due to them getting through Black Friday sales. My order also had some tube slotting so that could have played into it as well. But overall, great service.

Two words: Black friday. Its a feeding frenzy for the rocketry community, and it takes forever to ship out.

Typically around now getting emails replied to is hard.... everyone is too busy filling orders as fast as possible.

I forgot that black Friday wasn't too long ago. Think I'll get it in time for Christmas? I hope!

How big an operation is rocketry warehouse? One man job? Large warehouse?

I would still try to contact them. You never know, the item may have been out of stock. Not all vendors let you know if something is out of stock or when they ship.

I`ve had great service with RW ,no problems.

As mentioned, it`s a crazy time of year and Black Friday sales do not help matters.

Hope things work out and in time !

Did you try calling them? I've always got an answer when calling them during business hours. They have always been helpful in answering questions I've had about orders I've placed.

What are their normal business hours? I couldn't find them posted online.

I don't think the hours are on the web-page. They are on the East Coast. I would suggest between 10:00 and 3:00 EST. That's what I have listed on my contacts page on my phone , don't know where I got that from.

Nice folks, they bent over backwards to assist me on my last order. I called them and got no answer but I was able to leave a message, they got back to me within an hour or so and held my hand through the order. Like I said, nice folks.

RW is excellent--never had a problem and they've supported my southwest located (i.e. not near) club with raffle prizes. I do believe RW is a one-man deal--I'd give him some room to clear out from the Black Friday craziness.

I'm also trying to get in touch with them. Sent them an email back on the 9th and even a PM here a few days ago, so far no response.
I'll try the phone, but syncing up times from the west coast is kinda hard.

RW is a great vendor, never had any issues with the. Flotd has always been easy to get hold of as well. They will not charge you until they have all of your order together and ready to ship.

Update: answered my call right away when I reached out today. Very helpful on phone. Said they were waiting on some parts for my order to get in, and kicked it out the door with shipping confirmation via email same day!

It has been hit or miss with me. Sometimes I get quick responses to my email (via their website) inquiries and sometimes not. I asked a question about a longer than usual 8" coupler a week ago and have had no response. I need a ~30" length for a 25% scale Nike Hercules. 8" airframes are too big, and 7.5" airframes are too small. An 8" coupler though is bang on.

The wrong color body tube was shipped to me. I called them up to see about exchanging it and they were very helpful. Was able to get hold of them on the first call and they said they would be happy to exchange the tube. Will definitely order more stuff from them.

I have dealt with them on several occasions, and have had nothing but a positive experience. I once asked if they had 54mm switch bands or short 5" coupler sections (end cuts) and did not receive an e-mail response. Instead, I received a box with 4 switch bands of various lengths and a 4" long, 5" diameter coupler in the mail!

I never dealt with RW but some of these guys are one man operations so you can imagine how busy they are trying to fill the orders.

Got a couple FG pieces for a project I am starting and things went just fine, I wasn't in a rush to get the parts, it took about 4 days to get here...
