Gents,

As a BAR, I'm slowly being pried out of BP motors and onto bigger things.

I've got a RMS 29/40-120 case and some reloads for that already, but am looking now in the D/E 24mm engine size. I've got a Super Neon XL in the bag with a couple other D/E kits for this motor.

Anybody got a used 24/40 casing in their drawer, gathering dust? Got any reloads for it, too?

If so, please drop me a PM and we'll work something out. For F2F, I'm in the Huntsville, AL area, but travel to central Arkansas and Atlanta/Macon, GA regularly.

I'm also in the market for a launch controller for these motors, as I'm using an Electron Beam right now (w/ Lithium batteries to light the composites). I'd _really_ like to build a wireless controller someday soon.

Thanks much and Merry Christmas to you all!

Hi :)

Unless the seller has a licence to ship your best bet is Hobby Linc;

https://www.hobbylinc.com/

I've found their prices as low as anybody. With the 29 40-120 you run into a lot of loads that you have to pay HAZMAT fees to have shipped but the ones for the 24 40 case are all shipable, you just have to look through what they offer. Look also into the CTI motors that Wildman and others carry. They have a line of 24 mm motors that use spacers to adjust the reload size. I plan on getting the long 24 that has a bunch of G sized loads for it. 24mm G's...mmmmm..... :)

Give Ken from Performance Hobbies a call or email. He is having his Holiday sale through the end of the year.

30% off all CTI and Aerotech reloads and hardware! https://performancehobbies.com/

The sale does not show up on his website but your price will be 30% less than the prices he shows. Get in touch quick. He is very easy to deal with!

Welcome to the Forum and have fun with the craziness...

I know all our posts are aiming you to the dealers and that's because almost none of us has the licences to ship motors. Shipping them without the proper paperwork involves the Feds at both ends of the delivery and Federal jail time is in no ones interest. So unless you can find someone local that will hand deliver your best bet is the hobby stores where they might have some mid-power stuff or get it from one of the dealers. I have to say though that online ordering is much cheaper than a local hobby store and you can generally get what you want.

Thanks guys. Just sent Als hobby shop some business. Can't argue with his prices!

Now onto that controller...
