If anyone out there has a set of Mongoose 54 fin guides that they'd like to part with, I am in need of a set to repair my Mongoose that I bought second hand.

It snapped 2 fins off on landing after a flight to 17,042'. Would love to get it back in the air soon!

Thanks for looking!

SWEET! I certainly want to add a Mongoose to my menagerie at some point! 54-75-98....all awesome!

Dan will these work for you? The slots are 1/8" x 2",I can try and mail them out tomorrow if I have time (packing everything for migration south) or when I get down to FL.Just mail em back when done so I can do my scratch when I get a round2it.
PM addy if thats good for you.

My concern is that I would need to grind of the slots on each guide to allow for the existing fillet on the remaining fin... If you are okay with that, then I would really appreciate it!

Ironically, did you get those from Troj? I borrowed his once for another build, and that may be my epoxy on those guides!

LOL yup bought em from Kevin lil while back, they do have a lil epoxy just figured Kevin was sloppy.Do what ya gotta do bud long as they hold fins straight is all that matters.
