Who here is from the Vancouver Washington/Clark county area, I'm wondering why there are not any clubs here, only in Portland

We have many people in our club (OROC) that are in the Vancouver / Clark County areas.

I'm in Vancouver, Wa. Not BC. Washington state, not DC.

I go to the OROC monthly launches, which are all the way down in Wilsonville. I'd like it if there was a Clark County/Southwest Washington group as well, and a good place to launch.

Wilsonville is a drive... Im planning on making some calls to a few places over the next couple of weeks, If I find any spots other than Fort Vancouver high school I will post it here. My goal is to find a farm or someone with property in either Ridgefield area or preferably more like Brushprairie where I can get written permission to use their property atleast one of two times a month on set dates. We'll see how it goes. Oh I also want to talk to whomever owns that little airport down by the fort because that would be too perfect. If anyone ever wants to meet up to go launch some rockets PM me, I feel pretty comfortable as far as space using D motors at the highschool, never used E so I have no idea about that.

If you want to get permission at Pearson's airpark, go ahead and try. But, I'd be leery of launching that close to two major freeways in Vancouver.

If some farmer would give permission, I think you might be able to get a club formed. I'd join, and likely get another family member to join as well.

Or, maybe we could carpool to Wilsonville.

I didn't think about the freeways, not the best idea lol. I would be more than willing to carpool the only problem would be how would we fit my three kids and girlfriend lol, my kids would murder me if they found out I went without them. is it usually just you down to Wilsonville? we have a minivan
