Badd Azz Rocketry Thresher a la Jiffycoil

I wanted this rocket to look like its been around awhile in space. I also wanted to make a few structural changes to make the design my own. I know I've been absent for a long time but my hearts been with rocketry.

Looks more like a piece of art than a flyable rocket. NICE work!

Way Cool on the paint job!

Very cool paint job! I tried to get 'orange peel' when I painted my Acme Spitfire, but couldn't get it to happen on purpose Only when I DON'T want it it shows up!..Anyway, very cool!:cool2: Coming to Freedom Launch?

There are some specialty paints you can purchase that will give this effect. 'Crackle medium' is one that's used a lot - makes new furniture look old.

I do a lite sand on the area I want crackled and then a quick spray with clear coat and it works most of the time.

I'm hoping to fly it real soon.
