So when I got back into the hobby a year ago, I bought a Mini Max quickly followed by a Vagabond and I dug an old Bullpup kit and some AMRAAM parts out of storage. I built, painted and decaled the Mini Max and then started the Bullpup. The Pup got to the ready to paint stage and then a bunch of stuff diverted my attention again and everything sat till this summer. A month or so ago, I dug out the Pup again and started finishing it up but it was ill fated because the waterslide decals were old and would not stick and I ruined the finish. I manged enough funds to get a Semroc Scout and a BT-55 body tube and set about on my project of using the body tube and my old AMRAAM parts to design and build my "Mystery" rocket. It's now in the final painting stages so I broke my old tradition of finishing one before I start another and set to work on the Vagabond. Now, it's just about to the "ready to paint" stage and the only thing I have left in build queue is the Scout! I'm panicking! I'm going to a rocket launch in a couple of weeks where there will be a Hobby Lobby nearby and my wife is going to let me pick up some stuff as her wedding anniversary gift to me but that's two weeks away and my budget is nil nada zero until then! What the heck am I going to do with myself for two weeks??!!! I've become a building fiend!!!!:y::facepalm: Help!!!:D

Go a paper rocket website. Scratch build a few cardstock rockets!! It is worth a try, if your jonesing for something to build.

Goldlizard is right. Card modeling is a great way to add rockets to your build queue. In fact, they make a good introduction to MicroMax, by printing them at a smaller scale. I mean, take the opportunity to try out other aspects of rocketry.

Or, dismantle some of your already-built rockets and rebuild them. That's a near-zero cost solution to building.;)
