Perhaps this has already been asked?
Has there been any issues with the RRC3 and any rf trackers used during beta testing. Specifically the telemetrum GPS or Big Red Bee GPS?

I've got one flight with both Alpha and Beta RRC3 hardware, alongside a TeleMetrum

This is the bottom of the sled that I had the three units installed on. All three units performed flawlessly, and reported altitude very close to one another -- 14,250 foot flight.

This is not first hand, but I have read reports and seen fliers fly with Comspec with no problems.

OK, now you got first hand, both CJ and I use them, no problems to report.
Also I use a Tragic Little Aerospace ,Micro GPS telemetry unit , no effect!
We've beat the crap out of these units and everything but the kitchen sink ( may that too, CJ) have been thrown at them. I plan on adding a few to my Box and at that PRICE!!! It will be the best on the market for the money, hands down!

I have one flight with a astro dog tracker in the nose cone, unshielded , 18 inches close. NO Issues

One of our beta test members did some pretty extreme testing of the Astro and RRC3. I've pulled up those test results and posted below. Despite these results, I'd always recommend moving an "Astro class" transmitter device as far away as possible from active avionics.

"Also on Friday, I did have the chance to abuse the RRC3 with my Garmin DC30 dog collar transmitter. RRC3 did not malfunction with four hours of dog collar input where the main and or drogue ematch wires were draped across the DC30 output antenna. That is goodness."

Alrighty then, with that feedback, I have just joined the gang of "got to have one"
Now the constant checking of the web store will begin.

Sarcasm , don't you just love it!!!

by those measures ( Wayco's version ) it will be on next Blue Moon – July 31, 2015 or was that when he will buy one? :flyingpig:

Sarcasm was my major in college! Sorry!!!!!

Not a problem, how could I give any flak to the guy that created both of the rockets I have on my workbench right now.
I really don't have any reason to be impatient, flying season in AZ is over until September or October, when the temps drop below 100*. That might be part of my problem, I'm sitting here watching the thermometer soar to 113* today, and both of my builds are stalled waiting for parts. Meanwhile, all the cool guys are out flying their prototypes and sharing the great results with us less fortunate bozo's waiting for the release. I better add in a smiley here or someone will think I'm complaining.

Hey! Look what I found after months of going to the Missleworks website:

[h=2]RRC3 System Release[/h]

After months of development, scrutiny, refinement, and extensive alpha and beta testing, the RRC3 System is finally ready for Prime Time. The RRC3 offers an unrivaled suite of intrinsic capabilities while still maintaining a simple "buy it and fly it" operation. Check out the RRC3 and all it's capability in our Store and Products pages. New add-on boards are actively being developed for the RRC3, which include GPS/Telemetry, Smart Pyro Expansion, and Bluetooth capability. Check back here often for new expansion board release information.

Problem is, there is no link to where you can order it..... HO HUM, now back to your regularly scheduled "check the webpage" agenda. :eyeroll:

Woo Hoo! Time to start getting excited. Looks like that switch can get flipped any time!

Looks like we are getting closer.

YEAH! only 398 more shopping days to the next blue moon.....

Wish I could "start getting excited", but I did that last year when CJ announced them in his build thread.
Now I'm just waiting impatiently in the rocket room, with two builds stalled on the table waiting for parts.
OK, I will quit whining now and go check the mail..... Maybe GLR will send me some fins so I can get back to work on my night rocket. Now that would get me excited!

Well, I've been excited, but kept it under control so I wouldn't go crazy. I'm just glad it was delayed a little, Loki got the money I had allotted for the RRC3 with his sale. Wife should get paid tomorrow, all is good. :)

Urgent message to Captain Jim from Titanic: "Going down! stop. Thousands of rockets in freezing water! stop. Not enough altimeters on board. stop. Can see USS Missileworks on the horizon. stop Please send RRC3's. stop. Here comes another wave..... " (transmission garbled, then lost).

Just kidding. Looking forward to it.

I'll announce here first when the cart has been loaded up with product...

Thanks Jim. It is going to be great. I am not sure that I ever had this level of anticipation for a product coming out.

Chris

With 15 minutes to spare before 12AM EDT, and just in before the end of June...
If you've been waiting for the RRC3, your wait is over.

Thanks to everyone for your interest and support, and thanks to the beta team for all the hands-on involvement during development and testing.

Thanks Jim. Order placed. This is actually my Father's Day present. Very excited.
