I passed the certification flight and look forward to many more HPR flights. Below are a few still shots:

Later in the afternoon I flew my Aerotech Initiator on a Aerotech SU G75-10 metalstorm. This was my first sparky and I was throughly impressed. The video is until apogee:

you don't observe daylight saving time in nc? :D

congrats on the l1! using a h410 for the your first hpr flight is pretty brave. way to go!

Congrats and welcome to the club!! Someone has a very fast finger on the camera...

Whooohooo!! Great choice on your rocket, I also did my L1 on a Madcow Phoenix. I attempted to use an H242T, but due to problems with the motor I ended up using an H148R. And it was a windy day and I spent an hour in the woods looking for it.

How much nose weight did you end up using? From memory, mine took about 14 ounces. It's since taken many flights on H178 dark matter motors.

Was this at bayboro?

Neond7, I am not 100% sure about the nose weight. I think it totals to about 10oz. But, I may be a little off. The unloaded rocket CG is at 23" from the nose cone and loaded with the 29/38 aeropack adapter and the H410 motor the CG was at 24.5 from the nose cose....CP sits at 29.5 so I had plenty of stability. I dont plan on flying this rocket anymore. It flew with just a coat of primer on it. My plan is to finish the paint job, add the decals and then display it in my man cave.

Blackbrandt, Yes, this flew at bayboro this past weekend. You missed an awesome weekend to to fly. The winds was super clam, around 3-5 MPH. There were three qualification flights on Saturday. A jr. lvl 1, dont know the kids name. Warren English had a sucessful Lvl 3 flight with his frenzy XL. And of course mine from the pictures above......
