Post a picture of yourself on a trip at a landmark... See if anyone can name the location. Add pics as necessary to provide clues...

I'll start: Where am I?

British Columbia, Canada
I'll use my avatar as my picture.

Puerto Vallarta?

Ding ding ding! I have to admit my week long visit there wasn't all I had hoped it would be. My 1st and last impressions of Mexico were very mixed to say the least. At least I got out of the house for a week. Puerto Vallarta it is.

How about this one - Where was I?

(hint - that's a l-o-n-g way down behind me....)

This one might be a bit of a challenge in that there's no landmark, but that I have a hand made bread basket on white sands, at a Motu picnic, nuff said. Name that destination.

Cruz, that looks like somewhere in Baja, Mexico.

Another clue for my location: The water in the background has the highest salinity of any major body of water.

Bingo! (Awe-inspiring place of tangible history, but the trip up there turned my knees to rubber....)

Sierra Maestra in the distance?

I guess i'll tell you guys,
Its in Mexico and its the Sierra Madre,
its San Gabriel, Tula de Allende in the State of Hidalgo.
That's what I see in my grandparents backyard.
The Trees follow a river.
30min away from there, there are pyramid ruins of a civilization called the Toltecs.
