i couldn't get motivated to go.
all my stuff is light-weight low power, and I envisioned it going horizontally across the sky in the wind.
also hardly nothing is painted.
maybe Feb.

Was a great despite the winds- didnt hinder me too much at all. Flew my Argent 2 x on G40'S and it flew perfectly.
I have some videos and pics I will post soon. Good times guys

I've got some nice photos, but am too beat to finish preparing them tonight. I'll probably post them at RocketReviews.com tomorrow evening.

It wasn't too bad weather wise-- I got a couple flights in, though one of them (admittedly an overstable rocket) was pretty much horizontal at apogee. It seemed like there was quite a turnout given some of the forecasts!

Do you have some more info on this rocket? I love the design; I'd like to downscale it to a 2X 13mm 1X 18mm cluster, but I'd want to ask before using the design. :)

It's Brent Rubinow's Cerebus. He flew it on two Aerotech H250s and a Cessoroni J360 Skidmark. I don't know if he frequents any of the rocketry forums.

The Skidmark motor was air-started just after this photo was taken.

Thanks guys for all the pics of the Purple haze. We didn't get off the pad as well as it should have and lost some altitude but at least we got it back all in one peace.

I didn't go; it was supposed to be pretty windy, and with all the rain over the past day or so I figured a lot of the field might be flooded.

Yeeeep- we braved it :eyepop:
In fact there where quit a few people there- wind was brutal right at the flightline. Lots of guys searching for stuff in the tree's and I just read over on YORF that Chris M never did recover his Big Girtha with the keychain cam on it. I only flew once and was underpowered badly with the extra weight of my cam, only a broken flight fin tho. Several HP's did fly as well. Field wasn't too bad- normal ponds wet- main road was getting kinda bad.
