I have some old electronics from another rocketeer and I am in the mood to fix/test what I've got. I spent an hour tonight reattaching an LCD to an 'ALT3-1' or something like that, which was a reporting altimeter only with an LCD readout. Basically, imagine a Jolly Logic that was around 4" long x 2" wide with a 9V battery!!! I bet it was cool back in the 90's, though. I'm going to post a picture of another altimeter that I can't identify, but at least it is a DD model.
Anyway, this question is for anyone who owns an MC or has intimate knowledge of one. Mine appears to have had the pressure sensor knocked off, so I'd like to know the model number of the sensor itself so I could try to find a replacement. Hopefully there's a number visable on it, but from pictures I've seen, I can't make anything out. As I mentioned, this is more for the fun of repairing it, not because I really need it, since I have a nice pair of Ravens plus a few others. But, since I have it, I might as well try to fix it, bench test it in a chamber and fly it as a backup to see if it still works.
Any help is appreciated!!
Sandy.
