Paul that is outstanding detail work..you might think it's just another work day...but some of us have 4 thumbs..arthritis..missing fingers..butter fingers..etc. (I always have trouble facing tube sections perfectly flat)

And Mark has to step up and take a bow here...The Atlantic Research Bear looks PERFECT!

Thanks John ,but many thanks have to be given also to Gordon "Sandman" for making the custom tailcone for me ,it`s absolutely a beautiful thing and made to perfection !

I also agree ,my buddy Mark does a bangup job on the vinyl.In all seriousness ,what would we do without Stickershock......we`d all have a bunch of average looking tubes flying around the sky.

**********SO THANKS TO : Gordon "Sandman" and Mark "Stickershock" for making this rocket what it is :cheers:

and thankyou John ,for your words of encouragement !

Take care

Humbly yours ;

Thankyou Mr. grouch and Rick ; It was a very enjoyable build ,although a little drawn out ,but that`s what you get when you live where I do ,you build all winter and come spring .....PAINT like a madman and hopefully fly a few LOL

Have a good day and happy building fellows !!

Sincerely;

Paul T

beautiful job ! I bet the real thing didn't even look that nice.
Worth the wait. and best of all scratch built !

Ahhhhhhhh...Andy ,you remeber this build do you ?

Thanks ,comming from the artisan himself ,it`s appreciated !

Take care and don`t be a stranger !

Sometimes I do and sometimes I don`t ,but as of late ,I have not cleared any Stickershock vinyl for a long time.I find the vinyl kind of "cures" with time and heat, and once on for a week or so ,they are not going anywhere unless the darn thing crashes :eyeroll:

I even notice that any little air bubbles in the vinyl just disappear over time ,and this happens very quickly in the heat or sun.

I`ll post finished pictures tonight ,just got home from work and there`s a blizzard starting ,so I have time to take them and work on some other projects.

Stay tuned !

Take care

Paul T

Paul first of... just beautiful!

second yes vinyl does have a "cure time" well maybe not Cure, but the longer it is on the rocket (owhatever you put it on) the better it will be. yes it breaths to allow trapped air etc to work its way out. a little time in the sun, and even small wrinkle etc will remove themselfs.
LOTS of people ask about clearcoat. its a personal preference. it is NOT needed, but I tend to use it on small detailed things (like small lettering etc. a der red max decal or the lettering on a HOJO are good examples) the clear tends to keep the tiny sharp edges down that might snag on things over time.

Keep it up paul!

Thanks Mark ....well actually.....THANKS ,cause without your "stickers" :no: (sorry to call them that LOL) it`s just another rocket !

I think it was you who told me that any trapped bubbles will go away by themselves ,so no need to prick holes everywhere ,and it`s true.And like you said ,stick it in the sun ,although not really needed ,and the bubbles and any little wrinkles just kind of buzz off !

The adhesive also gets stronger as times goes on.

Keep up the great work Mark !

OBTW-gonna need some custom stuff for my Hellfire when it`s done !

See yah !

Stunning! Beautiful! Fantabulous!

I think if I managed to complete a build that fine, I would put it in a glass case and just look it it!!

Yes Mark and Gordon do some amazing things in their own right, but you Sir, blend them together with perfection!
Great job (on both of them) Paul!
