A lot of you guys are saying Optima....and I intend on building one myself with some nose cones and stuff I bought on TRF. What do you want though? A re-release with a 29mm mount or upscaled to 3 or 4 "? 3" wouldn't be much bigger, but they could use the Leviathan nosecone and heavy walled tube. Shoot, I think I just talked myself into a Leviathan kitbash!

I built a 29mm out of bluetube, clocks in at 40oz. I wouldn't mind a 3" upscale, but standard size would be cool too

Aside from the obvious wish lists of the Pershing, V-2 etc. I think it makes sense for Estes to do Pro Series of the their tried and true classic kits- 4" Big Bertha, Alpha, Mosquito, and Fat Boy---Maybe a Super Quark, Super Zoom Broom. Thinking of ways they can get the most bang for the buck from the same nose cone....

Hmmm...IIRC that nosecone shape is what was originally used in the Andromeda....
:y:

Like the idea there...The BB, Mosquito, and Fat boy all share the same nosecone, so not too much extra parts need to be made.
How about a 3 or 4" Cherokee.

I like the idea of the 4" Citation Patriot, but I'd love to see a mega-sized Trident! Super retro cool.

..."but I think Estes is going to ride the current lineup for a bit before we see anything new."

...wrong...check back again in late summer and into the fall....Mike

For consideration:
Alpha - Classic
Mosquito - Squatty fun
Black Brant - I, II, III, IV...

And for the truly certifiable:
Ranger!

Now that's good news!

I know all one might have to go on is whats been done by estes in the past.. BUT... how about open thinking and what that might look like. I would like to see a cool looking modern large rocket.. something new! I mean we all love the older stuff anway right!
