Hi Everyone,
I'm honored to be here with so many very talented people. I was involved in rocketry into my early twenties and now in my fifties I'm excited to get back into it again. I plan on joining the area club ROSCO here in SC and I have already joined NAR. I like to do research before I ask a question so I promise no random questions which could have been answered with a forum search.

Cheers,

Michael

Welcome. here you'll find an amazing, if not overwhelming, amount of information from the very latest techniques, to old school back to the 60's nostalgia. M's to MMX and back.

Enjoy.
And don't miss out on RocketryReviews.com - my favorite companion site to TRF!

I 2nd Eric's welcome Jiffycoil! ROSCO/ICBM(core group of both clubs is pretty much the same) is a great bunch of guys(and a couple of gals too! :D) I will presume you did your research and know the launch schedule, weekend of the 2nd Sunday of the month(with a couple exceptions-Mothers Day and Freedom Launch)..Look forward to meeting you on the SOD farm sometime soon!

And, by all means, we are up for random questions!

Thanks for the kind welcome. I have to be honest, it's nice to be part of a group of people like you. I've talked to Johnny Hoffman at ROSCO and WOW! what a nice guy. I look forward to meeting each of you someday. Again, thanks.

Michael

Hey Mike!

Please come join us for some fun at the Big O. We fly , go out to eat pizza & just generally hang and talk rockets. Kids are welcome, there's usually several of 'em flying at the Estes pads.

Hang around long enough & you too can become "one of the usual suspects". :dark:

Here's the clubs site for launch schedule if you don't already have it.

How did ya hear about us if ya don't mind me asking? [the club]

Hey Blackjack,
I found the club doing a Google search. I contacted Johnny Hoffman by email and he was so helpful. I look forward to getting to know all of you.

Wow, it's almost been a year and I'm back again to start again. I'm not having to start from scratch but I haven't been to a launch in 7 months. I won't bore you with all the reasons that kept me away but I have missed the roar of the motors and the friendship I have found in this fine hobby. Thanks to Eric from Badd Azz for the calls when I needed them most. I'll be in Orangeburg and I look forward to seeing everyone again.

I will be glad to see you again. I like you took a hiatus. I will return in August.

We have missed you at the field..Hope to see you soon, but my work schedule as it is, I won't be able to be there until April's launch:puke:...

Thanks all. I'm launching what I have and if they get dirty , broken , or lost I'll have a blast. That's what they are meant to do , fly. Chuck , be well and I look forward to your arrival back home.
