As some of you may know, Qquake2k (Jim) had a scheduled hospital visit yesterday.

Via text message this morning, he said he was experiencing a fair amount of pain and discomfort. I suggested he demand for MORE DRUGS! A bit later, they had medicated him, discharged him, and he was at home. He didn't say whether he was sitting in his recliner with his tablet PC but that was his plan for recovery.

This will undoubtedly slow the "Rocket Building Machine" down a bit until he's feeling better but I expect he will be present here on TRF in short order.

The "Machine "will be missed even if hes absent just for a short while.
Drugs??? Do you mean PAINT FUMES

Maybe the problem is sniffing three times more paint fumes than nessasary? But seriously, hope it's nothing serious.

Absolutely for a speedy recovery!!

Last time I went in for discomfort, I ended up having a helicopter ride and two stents in my heart, hope he doesn't have to go through anything like that!!

It's ok to slow down on some builds, no need to be the prime builder here, there some other very talented folks to help fill his shoes for a bit, hell I might do that for my L2 build next week!

Get better Jim!!!

David

To my friend "the captain" ,I sincerely hope all is well and that you have a speedy and full recovery !

PS-did you happen to sneak in your drill press into your room ? I trust you did

Take care Jim

Don't feel bad I went to hospital last week and found out the 2 stents that I received back in 1999 had closed up and blood vessels had grown around the blockage !!!

And I never felt any pain or discomfort at all

Get well soon Jim !!!!

Bobby

Or marshmellons? Then again, it could be those 'shrooms you grow in your asparagus garden... :neener:

Joking aside, I hope it's a quick recovery for Mr. Qquake. I guess in the mean time he'll just have have to plan more builds with extremely long acronym names!

I'm sure Captain Low-n-Slow is plotting his next 4" x 10'er to fly on a single D12-3 as I type. Stay on the mend, Brotha.

Quake,

Get well soon. I hope to see one of your builds soon.

Get well soon Jim!! Make sure you paint OUTSIDE and open the windows and doors when messing with epoxy! ;)

Jim, Wishing you a speedy recovery. Clear skies, calm winds and hot igniters.

Yea..Get well Jim. You could be all secretive and proprietary, but you choose to show the forum full disclosure on your builds.
This is just generous..as you could be spending that time building instead of posting.
We ALL enjoy your posts.

I am sure you will be back in no time, Jim. Take whatever time you need to be 100%. All my best, John.

All the best, Jim. I wish you a speedy recovery. You are a valued contributor to the forum and I always look forward to seeing your insightful posts.
