LOC - HyperLOC Gallery

First Post, First HPR. Got my Level one cert with this rocket (minus av bay and payload bay) on an AT I245G. Great flight, but a long walk to recover. Almost embarrassed to admit the bird was naked at the time. For the FITS launch this month I decided to redeem myself with a paint job that reflects another passion of mine, (Thanks to Mark @ Stickershock 23 for the awesome decal) and added a Featherweight Raven for dual deployment. It will be my first DD flight.

Here is my Hyperloc 835. Haven't flown it yet. I have an I245 for it and an Adept altimeter for dual deploy. It's so heavy, though, I may fly it motor deploy with the I.

Here is my 835. Boring flat black, but I did add some chrome! Flown once last year for my L1, going for my L2 with it next weekend on the 21st.

Ok, can't find a HL1600 gallery so I'd thought I'd post it here. Not finished with the markings and may want to add a grey band around the lower section of the checker....something doesn't look quite right. So far everything has been done in paint but may switch to vinyl, masking is getting tedious lol.

That is an awesome paint job!

I'd forgotten about this gallery. I flew my 835 last May at TCC's Dairy Aire. Flew it on an I218 Redline, motor deploy.

Are you planning on using a hybrid? Still trying to decide on a motor for this beast.

No, I have no plans for using hybrid motors. They're too expensive and complicated for me. My next step with the 835 will be dual deploy.

I added a few things since my last post. But have yet to put the roundels on. Not sure if it's starting to look a bit busy. What do you think? I've added them on the right with photoshop. It's only vinyl like the "Canada" marking so it's easy to apply (unlike everything else that was painted : (.

Which version is yours?

It looks nice to me; not too busy. Besides, it all blends into a streak at launch.

The image on the left is as it is. The right is just photoshop. I've got the roundels ready to apply but wasn't sure is maybe it was a bit much. I should get a tax rebate from the Canadian government lol.
