NARAM registration fee alert

Reminder--today is the last day to register for the early-bird rate as a competitor. Starting tomorrow, A/B/C/T registration fees will go up $20. It's also the last day to qualify for the drawing for a comp'd hotel room (assuming you've already reserved a room at the Marriott, which is now sold out). Get your registration in today and save enough to cover what would probably be the whole week's worth of competition motors for most of us.

The sport fee will remain unchanged at $15/weekend or $20 for the week, even for walk-ups.

We're also hitting the cut-off point on our t-shirt order. I'm ordering some extras to cover anticipated demand over the next few weeks, but the later you register, the greater the risk we'll have sold out.

For those paying by check, you obviously won't be able to register today and pay today, so we're allowing a 1-week grace period on payment--register today, get the check to us by 7/7 and you're good. Slackers who take longer than 7/7 to pay will be assessed the late fee.

We'll continue to accept online registrations until 7/15, at which point we'll be cutting it off and only accepting walk-up registrations at the hotel or the field.

There's still plenty of time to build, though--a full 24.5 build days before craftsmanship turn-in...

According to the countdown clock constantly ticking away in the back of what's left of my mind, we're down to 8 days and some odd hours before NARAM kicks off. While that still leaves most of you with at least 6-7 days to start building, for those of us toiling away behind the scenes doing the NARAM planning, that means we're about to hit that lovely stretch of work printing out badges and packets, finalizing range duty assignments, etc.

As previously announced, we'll be shutting down the pre-registration portion of the website tomorrow night. We'll still gladly welcome walk-up registrations once things start up next Friday night, but in order ensure a smooth transition we will not be doing ANY registrations on the fly during this period when the main printing uploading and merging of data takes place. If you haven't gotten around to registering by the time we shut pre-registrations down, and you're interested in competing, attending the midweek social or banquet, or any of the merchandise (shirts, patches, free commemorative kit) I'd at least encourage an offline email to me before you arrive so that we can make every effort to accomodate your request. We've already started to hit sold-out status on a few shirt sizes, so the longer you delay the greater the chances of not being able to get what you want.
