If you can make it to LDRS on the Salt Flats this year, do it!
UROC runs Hellfire out there every year, which is a large event on its own. The two events doubled up is a once-in-lifetime (well, 20-year) event. Hasn't happened since 1998 or so (forgive me on the exact year).
Warning, the salt is unforgiving. Bring water and shade. Get a rental car with insurance; your car will thank you.

I'm supervising my son's build of a LOC Lil Nuke. We're playing with some ways to make the chute look like a mushroom cloud.
Finishing the paint jobs on an Estes V2 and Black Star Voyager. After I fix the base coat on the V2 my wife is going to do some custom pinup art on it.
I have an Estes Space Launch Vehicle in the pre-build phase and am about to order a Mach1 Star Cruiser to push into supersonic speeds.

my son has a minidx3 that we'll launch if it doesn't get rained out again :(

I've been working on some electronics. I want to make a very accessible platform for hacking on rocket related electronics. something open source and off the shelf that a high school kid can work with.

Been working on an Estes Saturn V with the Boyce 5 motor cluster 99% done
Boyce Gemini Titan. Just need to put some Accur8 skins on it and done
Boyce Mercury Redstone Just primed it.
Hopefully fly them if our field ever dries out

Just finished up my Estes Cosmic Interceptor - been in the build pile for 3 years! And finished up Estes Big Daddy - build pile for 2 years! Went for a Galaxy-themed paint job on the BD. Waiting for custom name decal from Stickershock. This Stay at home thing is doing great for me completing unfinished projects. Next is my Saturn V and Estes Black Star Voyager. Both started about a year ago and just never finished. Here we go!

Quick question - regarding rails, I'm building a couple rockets now that will use micro rail buttons (10mm sq Makerbeam) and mini rail buttons (20mm sq Makerbeam). I can't remember seeing if we had those size rails at our HP launch?

They're going on an 18mm min-diameter Mach 1 Alien Interceptor (micro buttons), and a BT-60 Mach 1 Speed Demon (mini buttons)

If not, can we bring our own rail? Wasn't sure what the rules were regarding bringing our own launch rods or rails.

My Estes Argent flies on a 1/4" launch rod, and I have a 6 ft stainless steel rod just for that purpose.

We don't have any of the smaller rails yet, feel free to BYO. We do have plenty of 1/4 inch rods.
