That was a nice "watch it disappear into the sky" flight at the TRASD Holtville site.

I built my Sprite in 1983 and have flown it when I have a chance. Currently it's in the repair state, seems when the chute doesn't fully deploy it lands a bit hard.

My L2 cert flight - scratch built 4", flying on an AT J425R. The camera on my phone didn't capture the true bright red color well. Incredible to see up close.

Chris Flanigan's impeccable Saturn V scale model at NARAM-60. 3 stage with flip-out fins and a large cluster at the bottom. Check out all those motors!

Lots of cool pics. Here is a shot of a 3/4 scale Nike Smoke about 3 feet into a 10K AGL flight, on an O4800. It is the same rocket as pictured in my avatar. Hard to get a good sense of scale from the pic, but it is 15' tall. Weighed 215 pounds on the pad, 80 of which was the loaded motor. :D

The project was designed and scratch-built by myself and a good friend who has since moved on from the hobby.

I'm pretty sure that's a Saturn 1B . I know there was a 3 stage Sat5 with folding fins, But I don't think that's it

A couple from today on my custom build.
