RIP Dad, a hard post to write

This is a very hard post to write but here it goes. Some of you may have met my dad at the Quad City Rocket Society launches at Princeton or even Walcott back in the day. I lost my mentor, my hero..I miss you dad. It's been rough, but I will never forget you dad. RIP dad...peace and love to you all!

I feel your pain and wish you the best. Lost a brother to suicide 1 year ago. Memories keep them alive. Stay strong.

I’m fortunate to still have both of my parents. But, they’re in their 80s, so I can see a time when they’ll be gone.

Stay strong, remember all the good times, advice, and help you got from your father. Take a good look at yourself and realize all the ways you are like him. They’re never really gone as long as we remember. That’s how I dealt with my grandfather passing. Now every time I saw a piece of wood I remember the camping trip where he taught me how to properly use a saw.

Sorry for your loss. Losing parents is really tough. Time heals and memories remain.

Never gets any easier but you just learn to focus on the good things and good times you had together.

Today would have been my dad’s 92nd birthday and I think of him everyday...especially when I look in the mirror.

I am my father’s son.

Very sorry for your loss. Lost my mom five years ago, all I can tell you is it should become less of an emotional memory over time. That's how it has been for me. Be well.

I feel your pain. I lost my father in 2016 to lung cancer, and my mother in 2018 to Alzheimer's. While I am not a religious person, I believe our parents live on through their children, so mine are still with me.

I'm sorry for your loss. I lost my father when I was 15; way too soon.

So sorry to heart about your loss. Remember the good times and savor them.

Sorry about your loss. My Dad died in the early 90's and I still miss him. The heartache will get smaller & the memories will always be there.
