Just wanted to check in on all of you and make sure you are healthy and doing well and keeping your social distance. I'm doing okay and have to take my Mom to hospital tomorrow for a neck xray. She had a fall back at Christmas and has been in a neck brace ever since not to mention a couple rehab facilities. She is doing well for 90 and hopefully she'll be able to get the brace removed, which will provide her more mobility and make her happier.

Aside from that I was able to work on some rockets Saturday. Painted the Cheetah and sanded and primed my Spitfire for paint. It still needs to be wet sanded. I went to Pep Boys to look for some paint from Duplicolor called "Hot Rod Chrome" its a bright yellow, but they had the retail section of the store was closed and they were just offering tire and repair services. So pretty much just painting the rockets with whatever available paint I have left.

Working from home has been a treat and I like the flexibility it offers. Its seems I work a lot harder from home then when I'm in the office and not dealing with traffic has also been nice. I guess right now this is a new way of life for awhile and I hope this COVID19 ends soon and they find a cure for it. It's odd to see so many places closed.

I wonder if there will still be club launches anytime soon. I need to check ROCs page, but haven't yet?

I'll post more pictures when I'm done. It felt really good to work on rockets again and get out there and paint. The weather has been exceptional. I haven't had much time and forgot much I really enjoy this hobby.

Really sorry to hear that your mother having to go into a public medicine place, keep on taking care of yourself (and her)!

Rockets can be a good way to preserve mental health too, I hope I can work on one soon

The comic part of me wants to say

He say's hes not dead yet!

The human part of me says, I'm sorry to hear about your mom... Hope the results are good!

Stay safe!!! Stay Healthy!!!

Before you go in, give them a call. Could be special instructions for getting in to the hospital or maybe they'll ask to have it done in a different location....who knows.

Be safe!

From what I understand. Before going into the hospital you must wear a mask and gloves and I hope that this will be quick and easy I took 4 hours off work for tomorrow and I hope the x-rays come back good so this way she'll be able to remove her brace and become mobile. I'm looking at my garage door right now what a beautiful day. I feel like painting some more Rockets. I'm enjoying working from home. Cuz I had that time to relax at your own house.

Well I just got back from taking my mom to the hospital. Went to valet parking because they have wheelchairs there. Take only about 30 minutes and I was out of there. Went to Mickey D's afterwards and got her a filet of fish sandwich and some fries and now I got a couple more hours before I sign on to work. Thought I would come on here and see how everybody's doing. Tossed around some colors on the Spitfire. I'm thinking about painting it orange and black. The top section of the body tube in the nose cone black in about two-thirds of the body Orange.. I'm just kind of painting whatever colors I have available right now.

Did your mom get her brace removed?

The doctor has to view the x-rays and will call back, It might be a couple days before we hear from him. I know it's ridiculous, but we have to wait. They had a lab tech taking the x-rays. I would image that her neck healed fine. I was actually behind the panel when she was getting her x-rays and could see her neck and everything. Kind of cool. We were just happy to get in and out there without much of a wait. Probably maybe 4-5 people waiting in the waiting, but everyone was practicing their social distancing.
