Changed engine mounts, mostly, on my 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Well past their use-by date. The last one is wedged between the engine and chassis rail. It has the steering shaft above it and a panhard rod and bracket below it, so it is a little captive currently . Curse those Jeep engineers!

Sold my dead 17”MacBook Pro, finally, that’s been in a bag for the last 6 years. Worked on changing the lighting around in the ham radio closet. I got LED rolled lighting off of EBay, but the adhesive is a complete failure(Thanks China)

On a related note, here's a cool TV show you might enjoy. ;)

Think you went me the wrong link. That show appears to be about mentally ill people who accumulate things that they do not need. >smile<

I am pretty sure my tool cart is in the background of some of the build pictures I've posted. I long ago crossed the line between populating a useful tool kit and completist collecting. Pilers, especially, slip too easily into the house. I think I've got 4 different pairs of bent-nose pliers where the bend is parallel to the plane in which the jaws open (in my defense, the C.S. Osborne staple removers are actually really useful).

Getting the tool cart cleaned up is on my other-than-rocketry task-list for the weekend. I am halfway through the construction of a drill press stand. It has drawers for my brace, egg-beater, auger bits and gimlets - - which will free up a tray in the cart for more stuff (I only have one gimlet but...completist).

My father's father was a jeweler, and now my father has all his old tools at his workbench. There are so many weird pliers and fine picky things I don't even know what it all is. Those are cool. Next time I'm there (?) I'll take a look.

I looked under my 2 bathroom sinks & the kitchen sink and found an unused canister of disifecting wipes & 2 spray bottles of disinfectant cleaner. I felt like I had won a lottery. Locally these things are non-existant.

I also realized I have an AO Safety dual canister respirator that is NIOSH approved. Another +. And since I epoxy from time to time I have an almost full box of nitrile gloves. I'll have to hit the grocery store sometime this week and I now know what I'll be wearing. :)

Cleaned out my garage...well, a small portion of it to accommodate three bins on a folding table for storing incoming mail until it has passed the danger zone.

As a pack rat, I have to tell you, the struggle is real.

I blame it all on growing up a military brat. Every time we moved I had to give up my "stuff" and I've been compensating for that ever since. LIkewise I wasn't able to take my friends with me either. That kind of thing leaves a mark.

I also put a table out on my front porch for deliveries. Get olds opening packages while kneeling down on the deck to remove the contents. As a geezer, I find getting down is not hard at all. It's the getting back up that's the challenge.

Cleaned all my rockets out of my 3rd bedroom to make room for my sister to start living with me. My brother is a surgery nurse at the VA and he was transferred to work in ICU last week so he moved in with me to protect his family from being infected. My sister is a middle school nurse and was told she's being transferred to work in the ICU at the hospital she works through and when she does, she'll be joining my brother and I to protect her family.

Happened Saturday really.

My girlfriend and I have been talking about getting engaged for awhile. I was planning on having a ring made using a stone set aside by my grandmother, but getting that from my mom has dragged out, and the virus is shutting down jewelers and slowing travel.
With that in mind, we couldn't think of any major reasons why we shouldn't just do it anyway. Bought a stand-in ring Saturday, got it resized, and Bam, we're engaged!

Congratulations!

Marriage is highly recommended. My child bride and I have within the past few days celebrated our 41st anniversary so I know of which I speak.

May you and your soon to be bride have an equal run.

For shame! A true rocketeer would have given his beloved a 2050 adapter ring. Peel out layers of paper til it fits.
:D
Seriously, congratulations! -- Terry

Pulled apart an old washing machine for metal recycling. I plan to repurpose the metal drum into a fire pit of some sort. The plastic agitator will probably also be modified and repurposed - will post in the "what I did rocket wise" thread when I get around to doing that :)Agitator.jpg

I have been in the middle of replacing a liner in a large above ground pool.
Discovered the walls are rusted, so I am doing some body work ;)

Engaged for a while? I sure hope "a while" lasts until the wedding!

Smartassery aside, mazel tov, and best of luck to you both.

Whatcha gonna do with the motor? Those things are usually real workhorses, and if nothing else contain a good bit of easily recoverable copper.

Congratulations! May you have found your life mate as I did. 43 so far and we still actually like each other. :)

Tried to catch a small black stray cat that was on the neighbor's deck. No luck. We catch-and-release; catch them, take them to the vet to have little parts removed, let them heal inside for a couple of days, send them on their way.

Started another batch of hard cider. Last one came out at 10.5% abv. Also made half a dozen boomerangs.
