This is a request to those of you have been around a while. At one time someone was offering some tiny and very detailed saucers that a person could download, print and fold. They even had a little alien in the window waving.

If anyone could tell me where to get these or has them please let me know.

Thanks, Paul

There were some others by FlisKits, not sure if those are available anymore, the site for the original link is gone. (they had 13mm kit versions for sale, but the MMX were a free download)

you could try contacting someone at eRockets, they still have some FlisKits

[EDIT] WayBack web archive: (yes, the PDF links still work!)

as an option for the antennas made from piano wire, 0.010" you could use a guitar string maybe?

I have designed a saucer we make in a bunch of sizes all the way to 29mm MMT but I always thought the little aliens waving was cute.

Are you sure they are waving and not reaching out to take somebody?
The Applewhite U.S. AIR FORCE one reminds me of an episode from the Twilight Zone, The Invaders.
The larger power saucers make an impressive sound, since they stay fairly low during boost.

Looks like most of the PDF graphics are vector, but the little aliens are bit mapped, and get kind of pixelated when you zoom in or print them in a larger size. And what's up with the double-headed eagle on there, are they suggesting the ancient civilizations who waved banners adorned with that symbol were ruled by aliens, maybe? Another Unsolved Mystery...

I remember another model rocket that has a two headed raptor... The Centuri Thunder ROC

We have rattled the windows flying those more powerful saucers in the yard at our old house.

Fliskits sold the 13mm versions of the saucers linked in GlenP's post #4 in a kit called the "Triple Threat".
The aliens in the windows don't look very friendly.
