Madcow has 4" 5:1 standard wall and 5:1 filament wound FG nosecones, or at least they are listed on their website.

One of my faves too Dave. The old Estes kit was my first or second rocket way back in the early seventies! I cloned that one a little while ago, and got one of the Semroc 1/10 scale kits (VERY nice kit, by the way). Thinking I'd like to do the 2.6" ASP kit too...

Well, I had some time this morning, so I got on OR and designed a 4" WAC in OR, so now I'm trying to resist starting yet another rocket project!

Not intending to at this time. But... Now that you mention it I should at least build the sustainer so tiny could be added later. Never know.

That was my plan. My sustaner will be configured to accept the booster, but I'll fly it solo first.

I've been wanting to do a two stager, this would be a good place to start!!

Prolly Missileworks RRC3. I have a couple and I'm fairly comfortable with the way they operate. RRC-2 would do well for the booster recovery, I think. Got a couple of those on hand too!

I would like to try a Stratologger, but I haven't been able to get my grubby ole mitts on one yet.

Hello,

I've printed a couple of Wac Corporal nose cones for a friend of mine for his Wac using LOC 3.9 tube. Let me know if you want one. Takes about 4 days to print completely (2 sections).

Also printed the upper and lower conduit covers and a scale boat tail.

That is a beautiful print especially the tip.

That is a beautiful print especially the tip.

The tips come out best when I use a 1/16" radius on the tip. No stringing or deformation as it hits the point. BTW - the layers were .2 mm height and this was done a couple of years ago. My printing is a lot better now. Attached is the PDF for the Nose Cone and Boat tail.

The parts are really for a Sport Scale model, but the lengths are accurate.

Regards,

Keith
