Turns out that I didn't need it at all... I ended up removing the bolt and plugging the hole.
This is exactly why I didn't go with a solution that included a permanently installed mounting point for the sole purpose of adding nose weight. If your goal is to minimize the total overall weight of the rocket then obviously you'll want the additional nose wight as far forward as possible. This makes a piece of all thread in the tip of the nosecone a very attractive solution however that is weight you will always carry regardless of whether it is needed or not. I basically installed a DIY version of the LOC RNWS that was posted earlier in this thread. If I don't need any additional nose weight I simply remove everything from inside the nosecone.
