From what I have heard, this is one you either love or hate. I like mine. It usually sends me on long walks but I think its cool. I pretty much tried to copy the face card and this was my first attempt to fade one spraypaint into another. Its not the best job but it came out better than I expected.

This is my 36 D Squared, and the associated goony, which I painted in Metallic Cobalt Blue. The D Squared was painted with the same rattlecan that I used on my Gemini DC, back when the Gemini DC was in the stores. Years later, when I built the goony, I went with the same colors.

The 36 D Squared kit is one I'd love to see back into production. My last surviving 36 is on its last legs and I'd really like another. I've probably built half a dozen of them (because they fly away) over the years and even though its design will never permit it to be mistaken for a Really Cool Looking Rocket, it is a really neat, easy to launch cluster. Would love an E cluster version (Estes---You listening??).
