Estes DOM - Buchanan Buster (#11)

Small modifications include:
Replaced nose cones, replaced balsa blocks at ends of side pods with balsa tail cones, added a cardstock shroud to center pod. All for visual impact.
Rest of build according to plans, including the gauze strips to strengthen the tube joints.
My first or second build as a returning BAR some years ago.
Had fun learning some new (old) building techniques.

Boy, that's an unusual rocket. Is there one central motor? Do the side pods have motors? Is there a parachute in the central tube?

I think that there is an opportunity to do a 3 NC and a fin with that rocket design concept.

I have a hard time visualizing that.
But then again I have a hard time chewing gum and walking at the same time too.

I was imagining a single ring fin at the rear. By some ways of counting, that is a single fin.

Very cool, thanks for sharing the links, it seems that parent folder has a whole bunch of plans of a wide variety of designs. I will have to dig into those.
