This is for all you Scratchies and Dumpster Diving Rocket folks.

I am looking for a clear plastic dome or ball that is around 5" in diameter. I have crafters clear plastic Christmas bulbs I could make work but they are a bit smaller than I wanted.

Any ideas?

My I humbly suggest that in the future, try to put more relevant information in the thread title, e.g.: "Wanted: 5 inch clear plastic ball".

That makes it sound like it belongs in the Garage Sale section. Oh, wait, hang on a minute! You might try posting this in the Garage Sale section. :)

In general though, yes, more information in a thread title is a good idea.

(double checks spelling) I wrote Garage, not garbage. And Neil is right about what I meant: yard sale, not garage sale. The question is clearly appropriate here; you may find one or get good suggestions over there too.

Sorry, Long day of job hunting and other frustrations.

It will be the done on a saucer...
I used 4" balls from Hobby Lobby in this night saucer. They are the domes either side of the motor. I posted a rebuild thread when I converted it to night flying. The smaller versions weren't lit and used wood balls, cut in half instead.

and flight on N800 :)
