I'm not sure which forum is the best to ask about this, so I just picked this one.

If I want to build a kit that I do have instructions for, but don't have any parts, is there a website that keeps a list of part for kits?

I'd like to find out things like, tube size and tube length, balsa thickness, dowel diameters, etc. These aren't usually listed to that degree in the instructions.

No luck so far. Thanks for the links.

To be more specific I'm looking for the parts list for the Dr. Zooch Space Shuttle kit. I've gotten my hands on the specialized nosecone but there's a lot of other stuff to get. I suppose I can measure the tubes and stuff from previous kits that I've built once I get home and make a list, but I was hoping to get a list and stop by the hobby shop on my way from work today.

Maybe these parts lists aren't as readily available as I assumed they would be.

Try for Centuri and Estes https://www.spacemodeling.org/jimz/manuals/estp741.pdf and old catalogs that are available on ninfinger site that list parts dims.

I was able to get a lot of the parts list that I need for shopping by getting the instructions out of storage today and seeing what's listed there. It identified all the BT sizes, Centering Ring sizes, and other stuff I would have to have measured from built rockets. Other things like dowel size and length, nylon screw size, etc. aren't called out with specifics so I'll measure and try to guess when I buy online or at a local hobby shop.

Thanks everyone! At least this is a good list of links someone else will find useful someday.

I hope this post doesn't break any rules.
Is there anybody that knows of a 3D print of the main Nose cone?
