Not sure if this is a Median for Black Fly build thread. Its over a year and a half old! You may want to start a new thread. Suggest taking photos along the way, make some progress... then post a series of photos and comments. Just sayin'. Im a Big Mac Performance fan. Have six flying and a new 54mm Villain boat tail custom on the way. Enjoy your build.

I believe the intent was to further along the semi-joke of flying a mac kit being flown dry fit sans epoxy

unfortunately not yet, life has been in the way. I did however order motors for it and have planned to take the kids to a 1/18 launch to give it a go along with all their estes kits
 
It appears you missed my point., The intent of your thread title from May of 2018 suggests this is a build thread. You started this as a Median build thread 19 months ago. The last build update a half hour ago was a Black Fly dry fit. Just start a new build thread on one rocket or the other.

You are correct I started the build thread for the Median, it has not been flown yet but it is planned to have maiden flight on the 18th. As with many on this forum, life gets in my way of being able to launch, even for long periods of time. Personally I am more addicted to building that launching.

The picture your referencing was not posted by me, nor is it related to the build directly. There is a long standing statement that Mike and Mac Performance makes kits with such precision that they can be flown dry fit. That has been referenced in this thread, the Fly that was posted is Kuririn's, and only referencing the "fly mac kits dry" sentiment, not the Median build.
