Hello all,

I'm hoping someone can measure or photograph (w/ruler) the main & upper fin of Tim's new kit. I have created an .ork file upscaled from an Estes/NCR .rkt file I found on the Net, with corrected specs for Tim's 4" FG tubing. I am hoping to purchase Tim's version during his 2020 Black Saturday sale.

Thx in advance.
Tobor

It isn't the Wildman kit but here is a Rocksim file for something I have been flying for what seems like a couple of decades now:

Not sure if Tim is using the same dimensions as North Coast's Lance Beta, but there is a fair amount of information on this rocket available out there:

North Coast Rocketry used to make a Lance Beta and provided the Rocksim file on their site (don't know if they still do). You can find them here: https://northcoastrocketry.com/

Rocket Reviews has a Lance Beta Rocksim file for the Estes/NCR (North Coast Rocketry) model and can be found here: https://www.rocketreviews.com/unknown-estesncr-lance-beta.html

Yet another site with Rocksim data on the NCR Lance Beta can be found here:

Wildman's Lance Beta is a 4" upscale. The original was 3" diameter.

Tobor,
6" root chord. 5" leading edge. 1.25" Tip chord. 1 7/8" span height.
Or I can bring it to the next launch...
Maybe someday I'll glue them on...:rolleyes:
Oops, both fins...
Lower fins:
15 3/16" root chord. 14" leading edge. 3 1/16" tip chord. 5 7/16" span height. These dimensions include fin tab length, which I believe is 7/8".

How about posting the file please.
Tailcone looks cool.

Okay. This uploaded version includes the Aero Pack 4" Tailcone.

Note that my version of the kit (previous post) deviates from Tim's stock kit. I added a 1" switchband for the way I want to configure the rocket.

Looks like a fun build. What are you useing for tubes and nose cone. Tail cone looks very nice.

I have the kit currently and have the mmt assembled. Haven't glued it into airframe yet. No hurry...:rolleyes: I've only had the kit for a year ish...
I also added a vent band. Mine might be 2".
