Which would you chose? The club local to me has a max alt of 2500' and an impulse of <640Ns. I am within reasonable driving distance to larger clubs with no motor limits. I figured the frenzy would be more versatile as i could fly larger H to Is locally. Also if i wanted to go for level 2 i could use it and it wouldn't go over a mile. On the other hand the Wildman would be cheaper and i wouldn't need an adapter but anything over a medium H would bust the waiver at the local field.

Thanks

Have you looked at the Wildman 3" Darkstar? Less money than the MC Frenzy.
yes I also looked at the Wildman 3” dual deploy but I was afraid those would be to heavy to fly on large h and I the OR says it will work but I don’t have accurate weights for the competed rockets

I don't think it would weigh more than the Frenzy if any. Call WM and ask. A kit maker can only give you the parts weight. People build kits so much differant it would be very hard for anyone to give a finish built weight.

I have both dark star & Frenzy. My Dark star weighs 112 oz. As cross fire says, the dark star is a better deal. For what it's worth, both mine are original thick walled fiberglass so the weights mentioned will probably be slightly more than the thin walled stuff currently being sold.

Ck out Binder Design Excel single deploy 3" is less than 100 bucks complete and the 4" is about 137 bucks. I used the 3" with 38mm mount for my level 1 certification using an adapter and a H128 to 1450' altitude. These are very Stout rockets that come very complete and capable of flying on J motors easely.

I did my level 1 flight with a Wildman Jr, my son did his Jr level 1 with a Wildman Warrior Jr. Both single brake with a chute release
