Glue thrust ring in motor tube.

Glue launch lug to motor tube and glue that assembly to the ply top.
Make sure everything is even and "square".;)
Add fillets when dry.

Cut an opening in the adhesive decal for the motor and launch lug and apply the decal.

Done!
Flies on a B6-0 or C6-0.
Cheers.

This is where I regrettably reveal that that was a joke (a decent one, or so I thought at the time).

Let's get back to the build thread, I want to see what the avionics are going to look like for this rocket.

Huh?

No avionics.
Also no shock cord, recovery device, engine retention, fins, nose cone,...……………..
:D:D:D:D:D:D

I'm curious now. When did you get this kit? I got one of these a few months ago and it had a round launch lug and no decal - the design was laser-etched into the wood. I was a bit surprised.

Ok Kiririn. in your original post you show the thrust ring glued at the plywood square end. In your Jan 23 post you show looking thru the motor tube looking at the thrust ring glued on the end away from the plywood square.
Now you have heightened my normal state of confusion.

Ah, the magic of perspective! The tube end without the thrust ring is closest to the camera. the plywood and thrust ring are on the farthest end. Looking at the tube exactly centered from one end creates an illusion that the ring and plywood square are on different planes.
You may now refer to me as "The Great Kuririn".:D
