We have two cats and a dogette. The cats arexa Sphynx (hairless) and Devon Rex (ultra short hair), and the dogette is a toy poodle (hair, not fur). All are low allergy.

The cats behave like dogs. Both are curled up on me currently :).

Duh. Cats are self-cleaning, know how to properly use the bathroom and don't smell butts. ;)
Umm...I've lived with cats for most of my life. They DO smell butts, just not able to get to yours, so they smell each others' butts, their own butts, any butt they can get their nose to. Not as fanatically as a dog, true, but they do smell butts.

Yup, I think that's a lame excuse to look down on doggos

Dogs are like little kids: needy & need your attention. You also need to provide for them, in just about every respect..

Cats are like teen-agers: don't really need you for anything, except some attention (when they demand it), food (but they can feed themselves), and will stay out all night.. and, they may or may not listen to you..

That is the best one I've seen so far. I guess both figuratively and literally you're dealing with a completely different animal ( should've been obvious). Anyway in other words, it ain't a fair comparison

truth be told:

I'm a cat person over a dog person. Bu I do have 3 cats in the house, and a dog. the wife is the dog person, and we're supposed to be getting dog #2 at some point this year.

She is also a dog walker, so we may have more than one dog in the house at any given time.

Fair enough, I don't have like a hate for cats, just like dogs better
